The "OG" June Care Host (and user!), Gretchen started June Care to help all parents find their village.

Hi! My name is Gretchen and I am a mom of 3 girls.  As a former, full-time working mom, full time SAHM, and now a start-up-from-home mom, I have discovered there are always childcare gaps where we are scrambling at the last minute to get coverage. On the flip side, when I am home with my kids, I miss the opportunity to make an income and contribute to my family's financials.  

I've been lucky enough to meet other parents in the same boat as me (some working, some stay-at-home).  We started coordinating our schedules on a weekly basis to create our own little network of childcare, centered around paid playdates.  It has been transformational for everyone!  

As we come out of the pandemic, I want to enable this same connected childcare experience for other parents, everywhere.  The June Care Company connects families who need childcare with families who can host fun, paid playdates for their own kids +1-2 more.  We handle the matching, scheduling, logistics and payments.

    n experienced communications, social media and marketing strategist with a passion for fitness and motherhood, Nicole specializes in driving new client acquisition and brand awareness for nationally recognized brands such as FIT4MOM and UPS. Most recently, Nicole led word-of-mom marketing efforts, along with traditional and digital marketing for FIT4MOM which ranked in Entrepreneur Magazine’s fastest growing franchises.

  • Customer Success Lead

    With over 10 years of experience matching household staff with families, Heather understands the importance of finding the right match. She is also a mother of two young children, so understands (first hand!) how important finding childcare is, and what a relief it can be when you know you have the support you need. She looks forward to helping other moms find that support.
