Every booking made through June Care is protected by the June Care guarantee, meaning all hosts have been fully-vetted and background checked, and your payments and personal information are always safe and secure.

Payment Protection
Your payments and personal financial information are protected with June Care. Host payments are guaranteed and on time.
Booking Protection
All June Care bookings are supported & protected by June Care. If anything doesn’t feel great about your match, cancel anytime with 0 penalties.
Liability Coverage
June Care maintains a wide variety of insurance, including liability coverage for bodily injury and personal property events. *
Community Support
By being part of June Care, we connect you to our network and help you find your Village, so you always have back-up when you need it.
* liability coverage does not cover claims which site intentional harm or negligence of the June Care Host or any other persons involved in the event.
Important information for Families:
Background checks: Don't see a background check badge? Let us know and we will process your host’s background check immediately. Give us the name of the host you are meeting with, and we’ll move them to the front of the line and process their background clearance within minutes.
Don't Share Personal Information Outside of June Care: To protect you and your information, please use the June Care inbox to share personal information (e.g. address, children’s information, etc) so that your information is safe and secure.
Remember to Pay Through June Care: Never pay cash or pay the June Care host directly. June Care facilitates payments easily through the app so your payment is protected and your host is paid on time.
Enjoy Building Your Village: Get access to local June Care parents who are there to get to know you, and to help. With June Care, there are no long term commitments or contracts and no payroll tax obligations (all June Care Hosts are self-employed).
Important information for Hosts:
Background Checks: Prior to meeting in person with a family, all hosts need to complete a background check. We partner with Checkr to help facilitate this process ($15).
Verification Call: To become verified, hosts need to schedule a 5 to 10-minute verification call with a member of the June Care team. Schedule call here.
Reference Checks: As a host, we ask you to share contact information (cell phone preferred) of at least two references. People who have seen you interact with children in a professional or personal setting and do not include family members are ideal.
Payment Information: June Care facilitates payments via your host payout account, powered by Stripe.

Booking and Paying on June Care is required through June Care Terms of Service:
** Any June Care Host or Family met through the June Care network is required to book/be booked through June Care for any paid childcare arrangements. Payment must also be made through June Care and not directly between families. Violation of this standard qualifies our Parents and Hosts for immediate suspension and permanent dismissal from the June Care network. Parents may also be liable for monetary damages owed to June Care per the June Care Terms of Service. **
